Hello,
I am Aman Kumra – a marketing consultant, occasional web designer and soon to be second time entrepreneur. Most of my work is focused on digital marketing strategies, branding and customer engagement strategies. I have worked with companies ranging from Government agencies to international property developers and small startups. I love every minute of it !
A little bit more detail about me….
The Entrepreneur
From the age of 21 I ran a thriving magazine and online community based around student lifestyle, eating, drinking and socialising. With each edition distributing over 10’000 copies and an online community of over 5000 members, we were on track to success, until we were screwed over (couldnt think of a nicer word) on a venue hire for a fashion show we were producing to launch our clothing range. O well we learn from our mistakes, and it ended up being a start to a very successful consulting career.
With major clients such as Barclays bank and PWC, my flair for entrepreneurship was sparked. Since then i have been involved in assisting young startups through training and advisory roles, both privately and through training organisations throughout the UK. My latest advisory role is with Absolute Body Solutions , whereby i am working with the startup founders to determine product offerings, a business model idea for the organisation/individual team members as well as a full digital strategy.
My latest business venture will be launching in June 2011, so watch this space. Recently i have received my first round of funding and am working on a private beta version of the website. I am currently looking for developers, designers and marketing people so please get in touch if you are interested in joining a startup.
